Ear Infections and Chiropractic

More than 80% of children will experience at least one ear infection before they are three years old. Ear infection, one of the top reasons that parents seek medical treatment for their children, causes fever, irritability, and ear pain. An ear infection, also known as otitis media, is caused by fluid build-up behind the eardrum that results in inflammation. According to the Center for Disease Control, antibiotics are not a recommended treatment for most ear infections.
